LinearFlux has launched its hypercharging external battery pack LithiumCard on both Kickstarter and Indiegogo.

The second iteration of the battery pack provides more power than Apple’s 5-Watt iPhone and 12-Watt iPad wall chargers to speed up the time it takes to charge the devices. LinearFlux said the charger offers a 30 per cent increase in battery life when an iPhone 6 is charged for 30 minutes compared to using the standard wall charger.

The LithiumCard can be charged at the same time as your phone if you run out of battery and ts super-slim design can be stuck to the back of your device to keep it out of sight.

Einstein Galang, Vice President of Product Development at LinearFlux, the company behind LithiumCard said: ““The original LithiumCard™ has been revered as the gold standard of the premium portable battery chargers since its global release in August of 2014. With over a quarter million LithiumCards™ sold to date, our development team infused all the positive feedback from our reviewers and users to create a product evolution of our HyperCharging technology.

“Our philosophy and mindset is form always follows function but most importantly further refinement and increasing the speed of the HyperCharging™ circuitry. The LithiumCard PRO is a culmination of what made the original great but expands its functionality to address the needs of today’s faster smartphones with larger and brighter screens.”

LinearFlux has already doubled its target of $10,000 (£6,700) on both Kickstarter and Indiegogo, but is still offering the silver, titanium, and gold finishes for shipping in May.

The Early Bird charger is available for $39 (£26) with an Apple Lightning Connector or a microUSB cable for Android devices. The recommended retail price (RRP) of the LithiumCard is $100 (£68). When the early bird deals run out, you can buy a device with $20 (£13) off the RRP.
