Tech Meets Paper has launched a campaign on Indiegogo, combining analogue and digital stationery for the ultimate in luxury.

The Scottish brand comprises a number of different writing pads and special pens that can be used to write notes and draw sketches on a range of paper finishes.

There’s three versions: the classic executive with 32 pages of Olin cream smooth paper, measuring 180x255mm, the Signature, which has 28 pages and is 120x210mm in a trifold design so it’s almost three pads in one.

Tech Meets Paper’s triangular pens and pencils are perfect for scribing in the pads, finished in copper to match the copper foiling on the pads.

The app is where Tech Meets Paper comes into its own. Shipping with any notepad order, it features a whole downloadable pad selection, including planners, audio tracks and quote cards, plus augmented reality features, bringing pictures to life as videos on your smartphone or tablet.

“We want to provide a high quality product with a difference. We have been carefully poring over paper samples, scribbling on lined, blank, and triangle printed paper and researching with focus groups, designers, printers and stationery aficionados to bring you the best quality notebooks,” the company said.

Tech Meets Paper is hoping to raise £10,000 using Indiegogo in the next month, with its notepads available for between £35 for the limited edition executive notepad and pencil set, plus app, right up to £500, which includes a year’s supply of notebooks, a limited print with inspirational quote to frame and coaching session from Kirsty Mac. The digital-only product can be bought for £20.

The money will be used to put the Signature notebook into production and the app build. It will help Tech Meets Paper develop the augmented reality part of the app, which will in turn grow the community of Tech Meets Paper.
